## Why It Matters

The Leaderboard brings an extra layer of competition to the game. It is a place where **smart picks**, **hot streaks**, and **consistent performance** are rewarded.

Players who finish high on the weekly or monthly Leaderboards can earn:

💰 Bonus Shots

🎟️ Free Tickets

🎁 Exclusive rewards and early access features

BALLGAME.COM features **two types of leaderboards** that reward players for their performance and participation.

## Weekly Leaderboard

The **Weekly Leaderboard** tracks player performance over the course of a week.

* All players are automatically eligible to participate.
* Players earn points based on their activity and performance in the game.
* At the end of each week, the top-ranked players receive **Shots** as rewards.

This leaderboard resets every week, giving all players a fresh opportunity to compete and earn rewards.

## VIP Leaderboard

The **VIP Leaderboard** is an additional leaderboard available for players who make a purchase.

Players who buy **any amount of Shots** become eligible for the VIP leaderboard.

Benefits of the VIP leaderboard:

* Access to an **additional leaderboard** alongside the Weekly Leaderboard.
* The **same reward structure** as the Weekly Leaderboard.
* An **extra opportunity to earn Shots**.

This means VIP players can appear on **both leaderboards at the same time**, increasing their chances of earning rewards.

In summary:

| Leaderboard | Who Can Join | Rewards |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------- | ------- |
| Weekly Leaderboard | All players | Shots |
| VIP Leaderboard | Players who purchase any amount of Shots | Shots |

Players who make a purchase are eligible for **both leaderboards**, giving them **more opportunities to earn Shots**.

## How It's Calculated

The Leaderboard is based on your **Coins earned** over a given time period (currently set at 1 week) and not just how many predictions you make. That means accuracy beats volume, and strategy beats luck.
